In Search of Soft Sugar Cookie Recipes
A sweet lady in our congregation brought cake-like sugar cookies to church. After our meetings, she was handing them out. They were good and reminded me how much I like those old fashioned soft cookies, often frosted, that my mother and grandmother used to make.
Everyone needs a selection of soft sugar cookie recipes. So Kelli and Wendy spent a couple days in the test kitchen testing cookie recipes.
We made more than just soft sugar cookies—some of them didn’t turn out to be soft sugar cookies. There was a coconut pineapple cookie that folks in the store really liked and a boiled raisin cookie that I really liked.
