3. Sticky Toffee Pudding with Caramel Whipped Cream

Sticky toffee pudding is a dense, cake-like pudding—almost like a snacking cake—and one of the most popular desserts in England. There is a caramel-topping sauce that goes over it with a dollop of caramel whipped cream.

How to make it:

Use our mix or one of our sticky toffee pudding recipes. The toffee sauce mix comes with the dessert mix. Use brown sugar and caramel flavor when you make your whipped cream or our caramel whipped cream packets.

What you’ll need:

Save $1.50 on a Sticky Toffee Pudding Mix
Save $1.50 on a three-pack of caramel whipped cream.

4. Philadelphia Sticky Buns in Caramel Goo

Cinnamon buns are good; sticky buns are even better—basically, cinnamon buns in sticky goo.  The goo is very much a caramel, thicker than a sauce but sticky to the touch.

How to make it:

The mix comes with the goo mix and the filling mix.  Make the dough, spread the filling over the dough and wrap it up pinwheel fashion.  Make the goo on the stovetop.  Pour the goo in a pan, set the rolls in the goo, and bake.  Invert the pan after it comes from the oven.

What you’ll need:

Save $2 on the Sticky Bun Mix

5. Maple Bacon Cinnamon Buns

This is not a minor dessert.  And if you eat it every day, your doctor probably won’t approve.  But once in a while . . . .  It’s a light and fluffy cinnamon roll with lots of bacon, brown sugar, and cinnamon filling and then topped with maple frosting.  A bacon lover’s delight.

How to make it:

The frosting and filling mixes come with the pastry mix.  Fry and crumble the bacon and spread the bacon over the dough and the filling before rolling it up pinwheel fashion.  Comes with complete instructions.

What you’ll need:

Save $3 on the Maple Bacon Cinnamon Roll Mix
• You’ll need to pick up some bacon at the grocery store.

6. Carrot Cake with Lite Cream Cheese Frosting

This is a great carrot cake for a busy day—moist and sweet.  The frosting is light and fluffy, not dense and rich like most cream cheese frosting.  (Folks ask for this recipe all the time.)

How to make it:

This is simple cake mix with grated carrots, cinnamon, and optional nuts added.  Use this light cream cheese frosting recipe.

What you’ll need:

Save $3 on a Vanilla Bean Cake Mix
Save $2 on premium cinnamon.

7. Caramel Apple Crepes with Buttermilk Syrup and Caramel Whipped Cream

This works for breakfast, brunch or dessert—sautéed apples wrapped up in warm crepe, drizzled with buttermilk syrup (it almost tastes like caramel), and topped with caramel whipped cream.

How to make it:

Use our crepe mix or a recipe. Sauté sliced apples in brown sugar and butter.  Either use maple syrup or grab some of our luscious buttermilk syrup.  Use brown sugar and caramel flavor when you make your whipped cream or our caramel whipped cream packets.

These are cute little dessert cups filled with either fresh peaches or peach pie filling, drizzled with caramel sauce, and topped with a cinnamon-spiced whipped cream.

How to make it:

Mini pannekoeken are very quick and simple to make.  If you are using fresh peaches, toss the peaches in sugar and load them in the baked pannekoeken, then drizzle them with caramel sauce (we used Vanilla Cream Syrup), and top with spiced whipped cream.  (See how to make these mini pannekoeken desserts with either fresh or canned peaches.)

What you’ll need:

Save $2 on a jumbo muffin pan
Save $1 on the Vanilla Cream Syrup.

9. Caramel Pear Skillet Cobber with Caramel Whipped Cream

This is an incredible dessert made with fresh pears (or apples), caramel ice cream topping, and caramel whipped cream.

How to make it:

This is made with one of our skillet cobbler mixes.  Add peeled pear slices and drizzle it with ice cream topping.  Use brown sugar and caramel flavor when you make your whipped cream or our caramel whipped cream packets.  (See the recipe for the pear cobbler mix.)

What you’ll need:

Save $1.50 on a three-pack of caramel whipped cream.
See Uncle Denny’s Caramel Ice Cream Topping.

10. Mexican Crumb Cake with Cinnamon Whipped Cream

This is a favorite when we serve it in our store. Think of it as a fancy cinnamon swirl cake with chocolate added.  The layer in the center is a combination of cinnamon, sugar, and chocolate pieces.

How to make it:

Use our mix.  The filling packet is enclosed.  You can use caramel whipped cream but it’s perfect with cinnamon whipped cream.  Just add cinnamon to taste to regular whipped cream.  When we serve it in the store, we usually add a drizzle of cinnamon dessert sauce.
